HOW TO BLEED BRAKES ON THE LAKE

1. Fill hydraulic system to FULL.

2. While servicing the hydraulic tank make sure that the vent IS NOT PLUGGED. A plugged vent will make bleeding the brakes impossible.

3. Place a clean container of at least one quart capacity under brake bleeder of one wheel.

4. Open bleeder.

5. Turn hydraulic pump ON.

6. Place flap handle in bypass position, or operate flaps up-down-up continuously if system has no bypass.

7. While pump is running and flap handle is in bypass position, pump affected brake pedal vigorously for about 30 seconds.

8. Turn hydraulic pump OFF.

9. Close bleeder valve.

10. Test brakes. If still soft, repeat for additional 30 seconds. If hard, proceed to other side and repeat steps 1 thru 8, or proceed with step 11.

11. Place flaps in up or down position.

12. Refill hydraulic tank with fluid expended thru bleeders. Make sure fluid is clean (Fill thru sieve or fine screen).

13. Turn Hydraulic Pump ON.

14. Check fluid level in hydraulic tank, and fill if required.
